Very old story that also includes artists hiring companies that focus on creating countless email accounts that vote for them thats why from time to time we see on the list people like Solar System (Israeli totally unknown full on producer) for example which was a total joke.
The DJ Mag list was interesting years ago when people actually had to buy the magazine and send their votes through the old fashioned snail mail using a special form that the magazine included for this voting purpose. But for the last 5-6 years at least the whole thing is a circus.

yes it always works this way but still a shame. when I look at these commercial trance producers (ferry corsten, armin van buuren, Tiėsto) I am almost ashamed to be Dutch. These people give electronic music a bad name. that's my opinion.
