thats the question, i think not all artists want to show their bad opinions about someone transparency to everyone. this could have negative effects about their chances to get booked or get released in future. on the other side it would be not easy to controll the IDs behind the members. I will find a solution between both sites. If there is anyone out there with a good idea, please tell me.

Arne...nice...i think it will be a bit hard to decide which labels are good or bad cause ofcourse they will have an answer ot there version for everything...like we see in the forum but the way around it is to have a section for each Label/Party org' and people will either rank them as good/bad/ok and will have to explain why...and ofcourse the Labels will be able to respond....people will decide for them selvs who to believe etc.
the other thing i would try and do is have legal info for artists/new artists for q' about all issues(maybe its possible to find a lawer that knows about copyrights etc)
all in all...GREAT idea...can turn out to be a very important place and can save a lot of people from a shit load of shit

f i n a l l y ( to come to a finish in this thread now)
- i plan 4 month now to realise it (sorry for delay)
- it will have an open area to anyone. (forum, contacts, business-FAQ, tips)
i am no friend of the idea, that the labels will be able read and comment the ranks there. the main idea was, not to allow them to join the "artist-thing" completly, and also to identify everyone carefully who wants to join. we dont want fakes there and (important...) we want to feel the artists saved and protected and a complete open community would turn this rule ad absurdum.
if there is any good solution out there, feel free to tell me please.

there are some possibilities to make posts only visible if a reply was wrote. so just members can read the hole article while "outsiders" just see the thread/topic-name or some parts of the posts/replies.
another thing...
many artists are also label-heads...what about those ?
-count as arstist or as label ?
...n still...the thing how to control who the person is is quite impossible, no ?...
