Hey people!
First things first, if you're gonna say "we have enough DJs blablabla no need for some other kid who wants to make music bla bla bla" then stfu and get outta here right now please.
Now, for those who wanna be helpful  here is the story.
I got some cash for the new year and im looking at a new hobby. I figured i love trance, i love music, why not learn how to DJ/mix so i can have some fun u know. not to make a living out of it or anything, just to know, as a hobby... can't say it any better.
Now i personally only have VERY BASIC knowledge of that traktor software, which really doesn't mean much im sure but i guess it's something i wanna learn.
What do you people recommend to start?
Im thinking of maybe takin sum "classes" in tel aviv or somewhere around where i live (Herzlya). Maybe a charitable soul would wanna meet up, chillax (if u know what i mean hehe) and maybe show me some basics...
Im willing to buy some basic equipment to get me started obviously but im really starting from scratch...
So what do y'all think?

Well as a newbie myslef i donno how much help i could be but here's how i'm doing it...
Well i bought 2 cd'js along with a friend of mine, who also had a mixer (i think this is the most basic equipment for getting strated) 2 100S pioneers & a mixer i think for starter it doesn't matter which mixer it is...the strategy was poke & twist all the buttons & see what happens , i'm not the kinda guy who can stand classes , courses or studies of such kind.
after 2 month of poking here's the result 2 mixed sets i recored not long ago...

i think it's quite easy to catch the basics @ first, all is left for now is perfecting the technique, which is just practice
and having a good dj friend could be helpful i guess... though i didn't use any of such kind

I doubt there are multi language dj schools in israel... you can always pay an artist or a dj by the hour to teach you one on one

I speak fluent english and french, and near perfect spanish. My hebrew is ok, ill understand, but it's a bitch to learn in a language im not too good at.
