ok after reading this post few things i have to say :
1) About all the guys saying Junya has no one to blame but himself , that's partly right and all you producers must agree with me here , an artist from a label want to promote his music by giving it to the label owner , djs , artists etc. , for example junya gave his new track to GMS for example , gms playing it on parties (they are very famous artist) , and guys starting to catch this tune in parties and loving it,and will cause sells after the tune will be released so i think junya or any other artist here must keep passing his music to promote and sell (this is what we all here about no??) , but again you need to know to whom ur giving ur music out.
2) trading is here and no one can stop it , its like the fake cds being selld everywhere ,artist should keep thier stuff out.
3) every man can change right? , someone once said that "a foolish man is a one who wont change his mind after clearing some stuff out".
were all pepole after all right?
i hope i clear my point

P.S what was the Domestic story HAHA , seems like im the only one here never heard about it

incredibly long thread and read it all in like a 40 minutes... first of all dont blame kagdila records for the act of a inividual. OK maybe that dj should be more respectful and more honest but how many labels are there?.. are u sure kagdila is the only to blame ? there is tons of djs around and many are signed under a label; are they all honest and pure ? i doubt so. This time this comes out and there is this huge discussion.. but how many tracks are in top ten and artists simply close an eye of their tracks floating? Eskimo got all mad for these tracks and made such a biiiiigg mess for such a tiny thing. Everyone traded something and he did as well. Many djs nowaday are teenagers (and i mean REAL young like 14/17) so now ask yourself: were u all SO wise at 14? i frankly doubt so. I am now 25 and i realize things in a different way, i know how much work there is behind a tune and everything and i really dont like to spread stuff to ruin people work. But we all been teenageers. We all know how it works. we are in competition who has more who is more "elite" and stuff like that at that age. And many people keep that attitude even later on.. So lets look inside us and try to reflect and chill a bit. I agree with elysium thinking and cubensis too. Take care mates.

Insejn: Don't worry about SynSUN =)
The album was sent to the press and it's not a Kagdila story here, it's a problem between 2 people ..who reflects a bigger one: "mp3 trading" of unreleased music over the net.....
With SynSUN all things are going very well and we're more than happy to release his "Full-on Symphonic" cd soon!!!!!

About "stolen trax" the problem came from the source...if you want not to be "stolen" and spreaded over p2p's, just add a fade in/fade out in one or two parts in each of your demo trax...It's easy enough to avoid trading people or dj's to play it in mp3 or even in .wav's...
I learn that from O.O.O.D ,when we received their demo's in 2002, their cd's was not only featured fades in each trax, but also a recorded voice said "please do not copy this cd" with a nice echo at the back and tempo matching delay..

ARTISTS:Here is the solution for you to have the labels hearing your music without having to remove half of the music and NEVER having those kind of troubles!!

Something else:
I'm tired to hear bad stories over Isratrance board about Kagdila...
I'm managing the label since 2 years and I can say that I never experienced any kind of problems posted about us..I never got any cd-r from Shu-Ki (the owner) neither heard things like that!
He have tons of original cd's for sale (look at our new cd shop section!) and even if (maybe) a day there was a confusion/problem between Shu-Ki and someone else...I don't mind!! It's not my problem and more than that it's not someone else problem to be discussed out on a public board!!

This shit is confusing an even some artists have now a bad idea of Kagdila even before having talking with us!

Why not posting about Kagdila happy artists???he?

We're trying to evolve and give a good chance to some artists to be heard over the planet although I'm not so happy about mp3 p2p/ftp sharing over the net, I think mp3 is just a way to publicise music (and as I told, only "protected trax" should be posted)

Check your music!

hi zen,

i must agree with your words here,

any label who i sent demos must know my volume fades, and then vocoder voice says "u're listening to prosect demo"
but the problem nowdays, that about 90% of labels i talked with want full quality cd... and if you don't send you lose...

ok, and about kagdila, i didn't experienced any trouble yet, and hope will not...

peace.           Without Deviation, Progress Is Not Possible.

Hi Prosect!

Don't worry about your music!!!!
I got 4 trax from you: 3 psy and one ambient and it's pure madness!!!!!
We don't need to have your music in full .wav quality to know you're a great artist and you make nice music!!
If a label ask this, there's a problem indeed 'cuz NO ONE can force you to send them full quality cd's before having signed up a contract with them...or saying "no, sorry if you don't send me, we don't want you then..." It sounds stupid to me!

Keep sending protected copies, and if another label don't want you because of this, don't worry Kagdila wants you =)

They could say it's to "try your music on the dancefloor"...That's pure liars, it's always possible to have an idea of your music quality while listening and comparing the same kind during a party, ..... Without having to play it months before release...Am I right?
Or Am i the only one/dj you is thinking hard during a party?????????

And when contract is signed, then you have to send your music in full quality of course, and they could play it weeks before release, that's good enough,no?..until he's not trading your (or his label) stuff with the planet!!

Cheers!

yo' Zen,

i'm not worried thanks for great feedback mate! you should hear what i'm up to nowdays (did u heard the ones for kagdelicious...?).

yes you're right, they say "test on party" or some other stuff... i still don't know what to do with that, cause all refuse to heard any kind of demos and request full (or straightly after the demo ask for full) , i don't cut 2 mins from tune, i send the whole just with few fades or full low bitrate.

i'm with you about the party thing, if it's not your first day of playing for the crowd you should now how they react and can imagine how it will go on party, plus the buyer of the cd first of all will hear it at home, and for 60-80% it will stay at home...

other thingy annoying me is that labels to close on same sound, like mainstream fullon. sorry labels, but i love to travel in many directions and can't kill my creativity and start a "music factory" here

respect to all.

Andy.

i'm starting to suspect it's the artists/djs who run mp3 groups like gem..

IMO the whole unreleased track scene is extremely annoying.

there is no reason that edited or "watermarked" tracks cannot be used for samples. 95% of psytrance follows the same structure and cutting out most of the intros and outros, as well as parts of the middle will still allow people enough of a sample to determine the quality.

the unreleased scene bothers me because it's elitist. i'm tired of reading top tens that are 75% unavailable tracks. i love psytrance, but i'm not going to spend hours online searching and begging for the latest full-on KILLAR.

partly, i'm irritated that i can't hear the latest "killer" tracks, but mostly i just can't stand dance music's culture of the NEXT BIG TUNE. the majority of the time, the hype is unfounded, and the track is just another in the artist's usual style.

for tracks that can't find a home, i would suggest to the artist that they properly encode a 320kbps/lame MP3 and release it to P2P networks. i think Junya did this with his Prodigy remix, right?
