From the given situation nobody is insured. I want to wish to both sides to be more cautious in relation to those to whom you give or from whom you receive tracks.

dear artists complaining about mp3 traders! try to keep your music as much close to your hands as possible and bitch-bitch-bitch about every track that your close-close-close friend asks you for. once you gave it to _anybody_ even to your mum there's a risk that your track will be spreaden all over the internet. it's like having a sexual intercourse once without a condom. you hope that you're lucky, but then oops! nothing personal, dudes           last.fm/user/jyxx/

This is not the point, guys.
Some measure of 'blind trust' has to be made from artists, since the label A&Rs need to hear promotional material in order to decide if it fits the line of the label (if its a "good track", as you might say), so artists have to send over their music to be reviewed. Of course that the labels need to keep the music exclusively to themselves (I mean, if we give out this promotional material then it hurts us as well in the end...), but this is another issue.

brrrrr...... Y so much fighting????

Yes, as auspexx says, we all are guilty of trading music @ some time, but the difference lies in whom we GIVE the music to.

As a producer Junya, u have every right to be annoyed with Stimulus... but to call someone a good guy/bad guy based on whether they trade your music or not, is absolutely ludicrous !

I'm trying real fucking hard to open a psychedelic shop (music et al) in Delhi, India... but i can't seem to come up with a plan that works. The reason being- noone will buy original music if they can get it all free off the net. Artists like ur self & EP- with upstanding morals and respect for one another, still get to travel the world playing parties in magical locations even if your music is across the internet... believe it or not there are fans who have this same respect and try to ascribe to the same ethics, but there is no place for us until and unless you, YOU - can promise us an exlusive/unique product in the form of an original CD.

I guess wht i'm trying to say is keep your music close to yur side and confine its mp3 journeys to between u and ur label and/or other artists... the only way to kill this trading/sharing syndrome is solve the problem @ the source. Make sure music leaked to slsk is in the form of incomplete/corrupt files, or perhaps even write a shorter 'internet version' of the track itself that U actually release on the web. This way even once you release the music, the file names already exist on the web to confuse the poachers.
U Junya- have to be more careful...

[...and u HAVE to come to India soon mon..... we've been waiting toooo long !!!]

Now i agree with you that in this particular case, Stimulus doesn't appear to have much respect fr u or the scene in general... but lets leave it at that.
I personally don't like Kagdila Recs... but enuff.

That's all i have to say... with a lil' luck, hopefully you'll all soon hear of a psychedelic store opening in New Delhi India...... insha'allah

If you can't trust these people anymore just send them "damaged" copies with some static noise here and there, a click or beep... anything that keeps it from being played but still gives the listener a good idea about what the track is about.           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. yes agree....
but always has to be a whole track to have the chance to get an impression of the whole idea of the track.....sometimes I was send just 2 min samples wich were promissing.....but how to decide with a fragment of a track.....
And sometimes its nice to play those tracks will be send to test them on the floors.....so I really really hope that the trust in the labels not dissappear...           I just came out, cause it seems there was a noise outside ! .... added to Parvati Records rooster .. check webside !!!

Well this is what i think, most of us are dj's or musicians, therefore we recieve and give music to labels or or other peer musicians. This is diferent from trading mp3 on the net... and offering tracks to get others, that is really lame indeed. But i dont see any problem with frieends giving u music... i think this are two diferent things.

On the other hand , i respect Junya for his good work, but this isnt the first time this happens.... i bet there must be enough unreleased eskimo tracks on the net to make up 2 new albums, i mean many djs play ur tracks, their r almost 1 or 2 tracks yours in every top ten in this forums... u cant blame one guy for all that......... i think i have to very more carefull to whom you give your tracks because this seems some of your friends are telling u one thing and doing the other ...

nobody else has mention this but i heard that last year u left the CD of ur music in the cdj on a party in portugal then the other dj came and got it, give it to his friends and all of the tracks ended on the net

better luck for the next time pal, LUCKILY U CAN DO MORE AND BETTER TRACKS!!! cheers!
