Cheers Mate! I put up the live streaming link to Poadomatic, so you can groove on it as often as is required without taking up any space on the hard drive.

The direct d/l is a large one, but I wanted to preserve the sonics as much as possible so this one is in 320kps for those who want better than the 128kps live stream.

Enjoy it man, I know it will not dissapoint.
Thanks for the most proper vibes once again.           Label Owner: Thought Bomb Productions/Mind Bomb Records.

This is the first set from Dj Shaft 69 that I've
not liked. Maybe a bit to much 'dub' for me been
through that stuff a few years ago. Then we had
a load of chill stuff, needed a bit of action I'm
afraid, very slow and laborious.

Sorry my friend this is not for me, now your other
stuff with hardly any talking now thats what I like.

I guess it's a bit of a shock if you are used to all my other dark and twisted mixes.

This is actually a huge step back to my old ragga rude boy roots and is the style I have been spinning longest. I grew up in Jamaica, working class skinhead and rasta areas of London, Manchester,Liverpool, and in Ethiopia, Kenya, and other parts of Africa.

Whereever I lived there was always this stew of rasta and traditonal reggae and tribal sounds, vibes, the ganga and spiritual culture, and all the things that combined to produce dub and a lot of the early experimental sounds that go with it.

I am pretty toasted on the dark side, so this was a great change of pace for me and a wonderful way to have a different trip and mental journey while I DJed.

This set is getting a lot of love right now, it's acually been one of my most downloaded sets.

Sorry if it's not your cuppa mate. I'm sure you'll love the next dark sets I put out.

I'm releasing a dark neuro forest set next week, and a special Halloween Devil's Rejects horror set that I'll be spinning live on Halloween.

I just got to spin some stuff like this to give my soul and brain a break from the dark side.           Label Owner: Thought Bomb Productions/Mind Bomb Records.

i like this mix but there is not enough dub in it for me although i enjoyed every single track... just from the title i expected full dub mix but still it's very good, i listen to it quite a lot.
ps: wow, you grew up in many places!
i-man respect           New album 'ONE INCH PUNCH' is out on Random Records

I was kind of exploring more ambient side of the dub world. I am putting out Part 1 of this set later today, it has some more dub but it is still a lot more on the ambient and chill side than the roots side.

I'll did spin a more roots and traditional dub set that same night, I just have to work on some of the glitches and extract it from the nights recordings.

As for growing up all over the world, I was lucky to live in places that really gave me a love for this kind of music, and the whole world music and tribal culture.

Thanks for your comments they are
appreciated and understood.

You know me, I couldn't in all fairness
said I liked a set if I didn't. I loved
your darkness and your additions and your
own sound but this dub stuff is not your stuff now.....imo.

You have gone on to greater sounds, once again, imo. We have a member who says there
was not enough dub, well I remember a set
that was so much dub it was...............

All the reggae and dub in the world does
not get anywhere near the music you produced with:-

Articles of Impeachment
Aggressive Political Activism
Tripping with Terrence
Wake up and scream
Welcome to oblivion
While my guitar gently shrieks

I could mention 10 or 12 others all
brilliant sets by you, nothing like
this last one, for me stick with the
brilliant stuff dont go back - we must
go forward, why? because progression
is what music is all about, from rock
and roll 50s style to the brilliant
psytrance of 2008, thats progression,
thats music,imo.

long live Dj Shaft69 giving us all
the music we need and providing arguments
as he produces the goods(even if dont agree
you gotta admire his professionalism).

cheers(in the words of Abba 'thank you for the music')

see you on the next set.

cheers
