A new set from me (finally). I recently have begun transferring my mixing from cdj's to digital mixing with a laptop and controller. I buy so much music in digital format these days I'm tired of burning cdr's all the time; and concerned about the environmental impact not to mention storing them.
This is the first mix I've recorded with my new set up. I'm really enjoying the possibilities. The track selection is inspired by tropical beaches at sunset - my favourite place to be!

Looney Moon Experiment has managed to capture sounds from the mystical mammal known as Okapi! This rare Franco-Italian creature also answers to Filippo and has been behind turntables, in the studio, and swinging from grape vine to apple tree for over 20 years. Gunter, I just wanted to write that I really relay like your set, the one with Derango above. I've listened to it over and over three soon 4 times now and it's super chill, dark and mystical. Hope you continue and that your mixing skillz only enhances The only thing I miss while listening to this set is some "fillers" in between to extend the already magical journey in same spirit. I started to read page one to 14 or something and had to skip like 60 pages to get to this page! A lot of mixes out there which is super chill. Sad I won't be able to listen to them all. In inspiration of all the great Djs and music out there, I've decided to post my mixes here as well. They are not highly professionally mixed and they are live recordings from gigs, as live as recording while playing at a club goes. So many errors but I love the music at hand and hope some people here will enjoy the journeys. For my own protection, these are live DJ recordings which means that I get drunk, that people come and talk to me and we dance together, so many times the music is being played without the utter attention that it truly deserves.
PS. The one to the left is my very first recorded ChillOut DJ-set, so I'm most proud of this one.
