Hey TechMonkey, I like your set, somehow everything fits together very well, even so it`s mixed in a minimalistic way. I really like the way, how u put the tracks together; it shows knowledge of the music. Only the transistion to CBL makes not so much sense to me.
Anyways, thanx

Thanks very much for the feedback! I agree on the CBL. Sounded good in my head, but once it was committed to play, I knew it changed the vibe quite a bit. It is very minimal in terms of mixing. I'm currently trying to figure out how to mix beyond smooth merges of intros and outros (and the occasional beat matching).
HR624,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm working my way down the list and will check out your mix shortly.

Hi1 I've been into chillout music for about 7 years now, and few years ago I've decided to mix some of the tracks I liked most. Here is a link to my myspace profile where you can listen to the mixes as well as a link to eilo.org which is an online radio station I record my mixes for:

DJ SHAFT(69) - Dub Steppin On Ya Brain
Broadcast Live for Dimensions In Dub Radio Show
November 13th, 2009
Warning!!!! There are some really hard bass lines and some really extreme subsonics in this set.
Keeping that in mind, please be careful when you play this, it can damage some speakers.
(Yes, even in Mp3 format!! RAkoon and some others totally shredded my laptop speakers.
I highly recommend using headphones or earbuds for this set to get the full bass effects.)
I really tried to find that trippy bass heavy brain throbbing sound for this set, and damn it worked pretty good.
This was only going to be a 1 hour set, so I was totally spinning on the fly and randomly grabbing tracks for the last half.
I journeyed from ambient dub all the way to techstep and funky basslines, hope everyone grooves on it!
