i really like the way fluid radio presents the mixes.
it is exactly the way it should be done in my opinion:
with exact information about the minutes and seconds so that you could check any time which is the track that you hear right now. it is great like that, thanks.
and anyway thanks to all contributors in this thread once again, i love you:).

great set DJ SHAFT , very nice music in there.
Thanks! I was hoping it didn't get too repetitive with the overall sounds of the flutes and strings.

Mix n00b returns!
Unlike many of the people who post in this thread, I'm just a guy who likes to chill out with some candles, incense, wine and music. So I'm pretty much just mixing to suit the immediate atmosphere. This was a live random mix where I really only had the first song in mind when I started. I figured I'd post it up here to get some constructive feedback if anyone wanted to spare the time to give it a listen. I know I broke some cardinal rule by using Androcell three times in one hour, but it fit the flow I was looking for. I will apologize up front for using some very overplayed songs, but again, it fit the mood nicely. *hangs head in shame* Anyhow, if anyone has interest.

DJ SHAFT(69) - Blazed Out Dub Step Vibes
Dub Step, Grime, Bass, Ambient/Psychedelic Dub, Jungle/Ragga, Ambient Breakbeat Dub
Recorded Live
I have been getting back into spinning dubstep and drum+bass music again, so I just had the urge to throw down some of the old school sounding jungle style heavy bass dub grooves. I still look back on the mid 90's ragga, dub and jungle/bass underground scene as some of the best days of my life; both as a DJ and as a mad crazy party time when it all looked so good before the sun came up.
I tried to pick the most psychedelic and mind expanding tracks from a huge pile of promo dub plates and rough cut white labels, and this is what happened. This entire set was spun from promo copy acetates or digital transfer copies rough cut to dub plates. There are some glitchy spots and some problems on a few of the transitions because of the bad groove cuts on some of the plates, but this is a live set so it can't be helped now.
I was trying to explore the full range of sounds and styles from the rapidly growing dub step movement, so I hope enjoyed the trip.
