The two mixes I recently recorded and am now featuring on the station are titled "Return to Psyforia" and "Into the Dark".
"Return to Psyforia" is a reconstructed mix from my last set from a Sonic Beating "Psyforia" outdoor summer party this last July. I had the middle time slot and supplied the transition from progressive trance to full-on psytrance. I truly love to do this kind of mix because it allows me to unify both of the major styles of music I like. I also enjoy the musical progression of tempo and mood, which has a definable energizing quality. The build up of rhythm and harmony, at its peak effectiveness, is irresistibly danceable.
"Into the Dark" is the hypothetical ending or result of the "Return to Psyforia" mix. Although being a bit cliché in its title the mix surpasses this by being bold and spontaneous in its structure and composition. It is heavy and dark while maintaining a deep groove. Creating a transcendental spiritual journey is the intent of this mix.
The mixes air two times everyday - starting at 2 PM EST and again for the rewind at 2 AM EST.
