In his mix, Gavin creates a fusion of genres that is unpredictable and exciting. He proves that boundaries and labels are arbitrary. It’s an excellent blend of ethereal dream motifs with funk and grind. Through non-conformity to a formula the mix pursues the idea of “unique” and broadens horizons. Its this creative flare in combination with expert mixing that makes this a must listen.
The mix airs everyday starting at 2 PM EST, and again for the rewind at 2 AM EST. You can check the Scheduler on the main station page to see the times it airs in your area. It converts the times for you.
Airing from 5/10 to 5/23.

There are some amusing live365 channels... the Zia trance ones are pretty consistent and Dyalien's YobbleYobble radio is a regular source for wierdness. The live365 commercials are getting more brutal though.
Folks, crappy bitrate webcasts are the rule as far as free stuff goes. There are way too many programs available to capture streaming audio for people to put up high quality streams.

You guys are really friendly 
Gavin is a cool person and deserves better...
56 kps is fine by my standards...
I listen to the station at work, not at a party...
56 kps is FM quality...
Driving in the car and listening to the radio quality (with the station coming in load and clear)...
The registration isn't that hard, and you don't have to install any programs...besides the usual (Real player, Itunes, etc.)
Although its an ametuer radio station, I put a lot of effort into making it as good as possible...
Reality dictates some compromises...
So if any other members read this, please do so with an open mind...
I have a decent playlist that I update regularly and I feature a new dj every two weeks...

IMHO when Gavin was here in NYC his attitude was very elitist. Spectra was responsible for many parties that gave people the vibe that some people get into a vip section and others dont - thats not what psy trance is about. I think anger from people towards him stems from such behaviour - I cannot even imagine how skewed his ego must have gotten after he started playing with DS. That said more power to him - We need more artists from the states and the NYC region making it on bigger labels. |
