2 things:

IsrAlien - there is no reason to pay good money to learn 4/4 theory.. is quite simple he he in one bar are four beats and u count either 4 or eight bars 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on so the beat match not only be straight but also on the 1. Now u have to give me some 2,500 NIS cuz I tought u third of a course...

Arie ( No offence ) - I wouldn't study DJ'ing from u.. ;-) If I would invest money I still go to Ella ( She is little better still ) AGAIN ------> No Offence.

After a little joking and having a little tease with Arie, ;-), to b serious - It is a waste of money to study ART of this kind. It's all about technique and technique developed through hard work at home. The little things that u cannot learn by yourself u can learn from here and there, and u will with the time..

Good luck

You know what Yuli, I have to agree.
Just wanted to help the guy who asked for numbers!

But on the other hand,
learning those things on your one or picking them up bits by bits (BEATS BY BEATS lol) from others could take a long time.
The whole 5 month (or so) course is not really a necessity and you will be better off investing in equipment.
But there is an inexpensive week long intensive course that can get you started really fast and from then the learning curve would be very fast too. (after you know all the basics and know how you should practice by your self and what you should learn).
A kind of a Kick-Start that can save a lot of time and frustration and I can't see any faults with that.
