I have some free time on my hands now and I wanted to find out if you have any ideas of the names and/or websites of the DJ's schools in Israel. It's not like I'm trying to be a proffesional DJ or something, just think it could be fun. |

The best school is the school of time. like G said invest the money in yourself and practice at home. |

Krembo is money factory - take the money and use it on something usefull - like new equipment. Maybe u even have some leftovers for couple of decent meals at the McDonalds...
Study this art yourself |

well, Like I said, I only want to do it for the fun of it....Learn the basic stuff. I'm not a DJ or anything, I'm just a trance lover that appriciate the Dj's and want to learn about it |

Listen to my advice! If you want to be a Dj (and not a music maker), go to the dj's school bevause they can teach you some proffesional mixing like you wont be able to learn at home!
But you do need at home a nice Turntable to learn! |

with all the respect to all these labels, more than 90% of the best DJs learnt either from friends/observation or by themselves....it apears that established courses only make the school richer, and not the students. there is _nothing_ that can't be learnt by autodidactic method or by imitation.self-studying is the most efficient way of learning anything. hmm...and if you're unpatient and have no brains at all to learn with, no course will help you ... at least save the money :-)... unless u enjoy hanging the certificate on the wall ..no offense!!

I wanna add one thing - u wont get more gigs by saying you went to dj school. in the trance scene ii think u will achive the opposite.
