Sure , Thats mean better quality and sound , Ill not gonna get in here to all process but there is many differences between the 'Other' Kinds of psy styles to Techno and first of all is the sound .. You can hear everything inside , All is deep , Stable and massive , I said This hard style force you (The artist) Be good , (Its not a noisy fullon with an chirping , Hooting or whistling on high speed that go to nowhere) .
Music need an space inside and air for mind and soul .. Then the body will wake up and follow . Belive me .

Son Kite - Colours is one of my favorite albums ever... perfect combination of melody and psychedelic sounds. It seems like most artists only know how to do one or the other!

Son kite is the best example of mixing genres and keep it psychedelic.
the "psy" part is not exclusive of "psytrance", its not a monopoly XD

Not too long ago I got quite fond of this minimal techno myself, I guess living on Ibiza did this to me ;-)
I have to say I'm quite happy that some of the psy-producers made the step to produce techno, cause for my opinion, their stuff is much better than what the so-called 'real famous techno-artists' are making! So, thumbs up and hope to hear much more coming!!

lucky you, i m planing to move their too ,love the island...
lately i enjoy listening to radial ,love that sound sometiemes it sound almost like trance, couldn t find my favorites tracks on you tube ..
edit: oops just noticed it s about psytrance producer making techno it s a bit the other way around sorry
