To be more acurate, there is soul music and then there is the rest.
joking aside, some people will say some music has soul, whereas others will say its souless.
Kinda like there is good music and bad music, kinda like music I like and music I don't like.
Anyhow, once again. There is a lot of shit techno music. Its a lot more "in" than trance music these days. Because of that you have a lot of people writing music for the big commercial clubs.
But there are a lot of people making great music, music that usually gets played in squat parties from my experience and that music is great to trip and dance to.
There is no Trance VS Techno issue, that's bollocks.
And as far as GMS's new techno tunes, it was obvious they went down a different path for the last few years they were making trance tunes, anyone who's followed their work, knows what I am talking about.
I can listen to their new techno stuff, its something that is remotely danceable and has some drive.
