wel u try, but i dont know wat runs in ur mind when u make trac like this.. doesnt matter if ur a beginner.. u need to atleast have the basics of "music" , production can follow later..
i guess u need to listen to more music to know how music shud be?
try to make similar , then u can come up with ur own style.. but for now, i think same.. need lot of time b4 u put up a trac here...
|
|
yes bro u r right...i need to know more abt the basics first....but this time were u able to hear the bassline??? thanx for the honest feedback....
|
|
ok bro...i just dl your track and had a listen to it..
first of all bro u need to undertand the structure of a track....meaning u need to understand how a track is put together and a the track should have an objective or a story ,...
ususally a track is divided into three parts ..
1- the intro (which usually starts of with the bass and kick ,followed by percussion ,an ambience (or the background feel to the track)and short notes or synths ,efx and so on ...as the track progesses all these elements sholud be able to blend in with each other and kinda become one ...
2- there is usually a breal say after one third of the track and then the track progreses (or gets ready for the climax or the main break down ,build up of the track ,which usually is a signal that objective of the track or the main story of the track is delieverd)
3 - after this main break the track goes full power which still focuses on the out come of the climax and goes on to end ..
now im not very good at explaining things like this but i hope this helps u to understand a track structure a lil bit more
after listenin to ur track it is very clear that the sounds that u put in are very raw and at times makes no sense ...like silent horror mentioned a good way to start would be to listen to ur fav tracks by other artists and kinda copy the basics atleast...
as far as ur track is concerned...
1- the bass can hardly be heard
2- there is no percusion (snare ,hi hats ,shakers , crashes etc ,this is very important in a track as the proper use of percusion brings a jumpy and racy feel to a track)
3- there is no ambience
4- there are too many breaks (which if u really want to put in ur track ,it has to be done more efficently )
5 - u have to work on ur synth ( right now its just to repeatitive and too loud )start by introducing short notes in the first part of the track and get it longer and have variations as u go along )also note that synths are the most important part of ur track and like Gidra mentioned ,u have to work on variating ur synths using LFo s, envelopes, resonance ,etc ..
6- learn more about effects like delay ,fliters,gates,etc..this help u to also keep a good flow and bring about variations throught out the track ...
like i mentioned beofre thses are not strict rules that u shud apply but merely tips for u to onderstand how to make a track ...this varies from individual to individual and i know some people readinfg this will say that im writing completr bull hit but i hope that this has helped u more than the other replies that u ve already got ...
and just two more things bro ...
1- do not use substances when ur working (not everyone can do it,this way )
and
2- most important -do not post any of ur tracks on this forum (and specially not in the India section)ever again ,this is because i think u can always get better feed back anywhere else other than here...
i hope it helps ..and good luck looking forward to heraing some really good tunes from u in the future...
keep trying and remember no one was born making psy trance...everyone pretty much starts out the same way u did ...
