Hi guys!
It's crazy how i always check this section for so many years but never posted anything
The thing is... When you are DJing, mixing two songs, do you let both bass knowbs in the normal position?
or you start to increase the upcoming song with the bass knob at zero - wait till a transition point - and put this in 75%, 100%
i know there are many different methods to mix, and yu can combine many - but my concern here is the bass phasing, fcuking up frequencies?
how do yoy work?

Hello,
You've pretty much answered yourself. Standard procedure is to play the low end of one of the sources and not both at once, due to the bass phasing issues you've mentioned - it just sounds like a big muddy mess.
So no, you'd have one source with full bass playing and the other one cut (the kill buttons come in handy too). |
