What is the difference bettwen a Dj Set and a Live act, Does the artists charge more or less for each set? |

dj set - a dj who plays cds/dats/etc of all sort of artists and styles.
most of the time is cheeper then live
live set - a group that come with their equipmant and plays their music through those equepmant.
cost more |

many artists that I know never bring equipment.
they give the orgenizer a list of the equipment they need, and HE takes care of that.

Not entirely correct.
take dark soho for instance. do you think that the orgenizer will know how to string their guitars? do you think he'll know how to tune it for them? some of the equipment IS brought by the orgenizer. more often than not. but at occasions, Some DJ's take care of their own. |

i think the main problem of live acts is -
yang artist start to play live but he still dont have enough realy quality stuff for long play and coze its live and he cant play trax that maded by other artist's, he play non quality music but he think its cool "live" !! |

most new skool trance artists. live act in 99% is just a bore- its not really live and its exactly like eli the zombie said not enough quality music.
i don`t think ticon or even cosma has enough good music to keep it going for a full show.

you will be surprise but they have, dont know about cosma, but ticon with all their side projects got quite enough loops on their multychanel HD recorder to moove the crowd for two hours. |
