Moira Santibáńez is Originally from Santiago de Chile, first arrived at Barcelona at age of 14th and has been mixing non-stop around Barcelona since. One of the most popular spanish DJ’s around, always delivering a perfectly matched mix and a great vibe on the dancefloors. she gained instant respect. Growing rapidly and well connected with many talented musicians and producers. With this influence her urge to learn and experiment with different styles, grew more and more, mainly influenced by sexy electro up to Full-On Trance.
In 2004 Dj Anahata(Ciro Gisiger) founded the first Spanish Trance label Materia Records together with Moira Santibáńez, and they have been supporting and following the evolution of psychedelic Trance in Spain especially in Barcelona , creating harmony between local and international artists…

1) We would like to ask for the label "Materia" which is running by DJ Anahata
and you, What is the reason for establish the label and what is your aim or goal?
It happens that in the years 2001-2002, a lot of psytrance artists came to live in barcelona, spain, and very
fast we've got connected and realized that were a high level of production going around here. We like a lot this new
style high tech full on that was emerging from the artists here. At the end of 2003
materia was born with the intuite to promote and release artists from barcelona. In february 2004 we released our first
compilation called Goodfellas wich includes local artists and artists from all the globe. Our goal its to spread out
artists from diferent styles and diferent perpectives and also open a sub label to release Progressive music.
2) How you find good artist from over the world?
Well.. they are living just right on the next door, 
This Year we have included 2 new internatinal artists , SpeedBall from Mexico and Cortex from Israel.

3) Who is your favorite artist lately? And the reason why?
Its kind of hard to select only one , there is many artists i like today, in fact here is some ..
Speedball: They have a great sound, and they are very young, so, its promissing a lot, Working right now
on their debut Album, wich its going to be out in Materia by february 2008.
Painkiller: Roy its a genius
Synergy : A colaboration from Absolum and CPU, humm not much to say ..definitly my style
Puzzle: Its a musician with a lot of talent, wich his skills dont stay just on psytrance, his a brilliant musician that
can make whatever he wants, Full on, House, Dub, Chill Out.. watch out
Kali: He is working right now on his Debut Album, wich its going to be out in Materia by November we expect , im sure
its going to be a hit.
Massive: The New Project of DaVina (aka Sirius Isness), she is the lady of psytrance and her music now its just simple
incredible ...Something new. Lots of respect for what she is doing.
And many more artists wich its a shame i dindt included here, otherwise it will be a long list.
Q4) What is your motivation to start djing? How long you been as dj?
Ive allways liked music, partys. In my family there is a lot of musicians and since i was little i had classes
of violin and always knew what i really wanted to do. I have good ears, so it helped me to learn how to Mix. This was
in 2002 and i was dijing at a bar as a hobby. And by 2003 ive started to play in a good professinal level, playing a
lot of styles like Progressive, electro and psytrance.
Q5) Who is your respectable artist? And which person you are inspired?
I think Cristoff (Absolum) spreded out many seeds and from that, came out Samy (CPU)
and from him Roy (Painkiller)..wich i think right now its the person who directly inspired me more..
by the fact is that all 3 its brilliant ..
Q6) I think you're playing around Europe. Which country you've played so
far?
Portugal, Spain, Greece, Switzerland.
Q7) Tell us your best party for playing.
A tropical country, by the Beach, with palmtrees, juices and exotic fruits.
Q8) What is the image for Japanese psy-trance scean from your eyes?
Tell us about your imagination for it.
Japan have an excellent reputation about their partys, everybody ive know who went there came back very excited.
Japan its considered one of the best countries with struture for eletronic music and trance especially. So the picture
i have from there its that they have this very professional partys with a energetic crowd ..a place where they actually
live the trance!
I wanted to Thanks Wakyo and especially Takaya for the work he made with the goal to killer releases
from our label gets for everybody in Japan.
Q9) Tell us the concept for "Big Bang" and tell us what is in your mind.
The Big Bang some how, started from nothing..from a big explosion wich gave life ..the same way that this compilation
its going to do on the dance floors.. its the name that more defines the tracks ive selected for the Dancers !
Q10) Tell us your further activity.
After Big bang its out on the market, i want to start another compilation, to be released before the summer of 2008.
By now my Dj set its new and fresh and i am very satisfied with the results of my mixing skills. As ive said before
were also working on a Sub label to release Progressive-electro-house ..and being playing this kinds of styles
at the clubs.
