Broken Symmetry on http://www.eccentricbeats.com - broadcasting *Monday* (Feb. 7)

chat on http://www.sonicblend.com/forum/mods/flashChat/flashchat.php

My guest(s) for this week's mix are Sweden-based production & DJing duo Holm & Andersen. Holm & Andersen are made up of Kristian Thinning Andersen & Kim "Budda" Holm. Kristian is well-known for his legendary goa works under the names Elysium Project, Elysium, Sheyba and others. He previously contributed a great mix to Broken Symmetry in March 2004. The Holm & Andersen project is an outlet for these producers to showcase more groovin' progressive tek-house sounds. With releases already signed to Tribal Vision Records, this pair is one to watch out for in 2005.

www.holm-andersen.com (site currently under development)

For the first hour, I stir up an eclectic mix of breakbeat filth, tribal grooves and progressive bliss. For the second hour, Holm & Andersen provide a smooth techy journey with a couple exclusive previews of what to expect from their studio.

I'll post a tracklist closer to the broadcast time so you will know where it is in the mix.

I'm sure that Kristian will point it out in the chat as well.           -----------------

Hey psytrip - it's not a compilation, just the tracklisting for a mix on my radio show. I only wish I could make a compilation with such good tracks.

Here is the tracklist for the Holm & Andersen mix in the 2nd hour:

Part II - Holm & Andersen February Mix 2005
1. Piece Process - Right or Wrong (Andre Absolut Mix) - Looq
2. Deep Funk Fusion : Bakony Scamp - Sumsonic
3. Dimas Pres. D-Formation : Starstuff (Simon & Shaker Bladerunning Mix) - Hadshot
4. Holm & Andersen : Cityrain - Tribal Vision Records
5. Paul Rogers : Krafty (GPal Sea Paradise Mix) - Sumsonic
6. Elysium Project : Sleepwalk - Tribal Vision Records
7. Space Safari : Soul - Free Form
8. Jeff Bennett : Puzzeling Thoughts - Episode
9. Marc O´Tool : Dj Poetry - Hadshot

Enjoy.

30 minutes till broadcast.

FYI, I will be updating www.krelmatrix.com with archive of some past shows pretty soon. If anybody has any requests of older shows they would like to hear, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Tracklistings from all of the previous shows since August 2003 are here:

UPDATE!!!

First off, huge thanks to everybody that tuned in and joined in the chat. Also thanks to Holm & Andersen for the cool guest mix!

Both sets from the show are now available in full for download from:
www.krelmatrix.com
Follow the link to the Broken Symmetry archives (it's the only link currently there ). Tracklists are also available on the site.

Each mix is about 63 minutes long and 60 MB (128kbps .mp3 encoding) in size. They are available until the next broadcast on Feb. 21.

Feel free to PM, email or leave any comments here. And enjoy the mixes.

I hope you enjoyed the mixes.

Just a minor update - I've added another previous guest mix to the site:

Jan. 17, 2005 - Part II - DJ Frederik Flanger (Vertikal Records - Germany)

Unfortunately, I don't have a tracklist for the mix, but the style is funky tekky progressive. I'll leave that mix up until next Monday (Feb. 21), then replace it with another previous show. I've got 40 gigs of bandwidth to play with, so I'll be putting a different past show up every week in addition to the current archives. Check back every week for something new.
