How long have you been in the psy scene dude? I've been in this business for ten years now... This scene is bigger than me? I suppose its not bigger than you though...
This is exactly what I was talking... I rest my case.
Anyways, this is my last post on this topic, I won't indulge people who are rude and can't have an informed conversation

Forget it dude... the scene was destroyed from a long time ago, commercialism took care of everything! Money is the big point of almost all the parties! Artists are not making music with their spirit anymore as was a long time ago, they are making music to win money... forget that dude, and try adapt in the best way of u can in the new generation!

you are making to be a bussines...
we have lost the whole spirit about the psy trance because of the money machine making artist.
once i loved your music man and also infected or some other artist.
but in a few years most of the artist made some music that looks like crappy techno and made some loving cult artist from their self and now asking for wotes on this dj list?pfff
and it is not about whole long you have been in the scene it is about how long you keep this psy spirit in you.
and i am not talking this about protoculture, many of the artist sold their soul.... for $$$

Dude, just to set the record straight...
I checked out your myspace page and had a listen to your music. Its great you are producing, and while it's not my style, let me just say "nice one bro"
but...
Bear in mind, thats not the psy trance that built this community in the first place. Just like me, you've gone into a new style thats much darker, much more hardcore than what things used to be like, so be careful when you start slagging everyone off.
Judging by your pics you don't look like a "hardcore hippy psy trance loving whatever you call it"

I dunno dude, but I think you should think carefully before making posts like you do. I dont slag off the "hardcore dark psy".... it is what it is. If I shouldn't call myself a psy trance artist, then to be honest, neither should you bro. Anyways, I'm not trying to piss you off man, and Im not trying to insult you. I have the utmost respect for you guys and what you are doing. You've got your own following and your own market and your own scene, so let the guys doing the more "commercial" stuff have theirs.

@demoniac... Bro i totally understand where your coming from but i think your missing a point here. Everything in this world evolves, forward is the only direction. Even though artists such as IM or Skazi have turned cheesy over the past couple of years, they spent and devoted their whole lives to giving us the listening pleasure they did for those 5-6 or even more years. We as individuals make decisions that best suite our interests in the future, its human nature. At the point when these artists made the transition into the more commercial genre, maybe they believed going commercial was in their best interests.
Even a 'hippy' as you call yourself should have some amount of a 'live and let live' attitude in him don't you think? I certainly believe so. Why not appreciate an artist for what they gave you at that point in time? And beyond that just overlook it because it was their choice to move in a different direction. I hope you get what i'm saying; each to their own.
Just like you, i am solely into the night time sound and i personally believe it is the 'more psychedelic' sub genre but you need to come to terms with each individual's wants and desires from life. Not everybody wants to be hippy you know

PS - In relation to the evolution i spoke about in paragraph one of my previous post, i thought i should point out to you that even artists such Para Halu or Kindzadza have evolved greatly since a time such as 2004. Im not going to comment on the direction in which they have moved towards or whether thats a good thing or bad thing imo, so draw your own conclusions. Just thought ill spot this out in a manner you may relate to easily |

i have giwe a few tracks on a free compilation and yes there is a one little place on myspace where you can find my tracks for free and you just need to look better
hey what about goa gil, hallucinogen, shpongle, and much more artist and dj's
do they become greedy and made this scene commercial?
or they bombed our mind with their music and they stayed whatever they were.
by the way you cant judge the man by one picture you know.
you dont even know when is that picture taken and why?
hippie should look like a dirty old man with long hair and flowers in it?
i am just saying
you can easy go make a commercial music and leave the psy trance untouched.

Bro, we as humans are born narcissists and i am able to empathize with you to some extent. But your last line troubles me because you really need wake up and realize that you as an individual are not the center of the universe, neither am i, nobody is. Why should the cheesy artists of today make psychedelic music? To satisfy your needs? What happened to the PLUR? Why not let them do whatever they want to? Infact i think it was quite ballzy for artists such as IM & Skazi to make open statements that they are no longer psy and don't want to be categorized under the 'psy' genre. So where are you heading at? There is no point complaining about this. People will continue doing what they want to, you might as well keep your own scene alive instead of killing your brain cells thinking about how commercial artists are killing us Let people decide how rich they want to get. Being rich isn't a crime. Evolution will go on. With or without you.

I know simon (posford) personally... He charges up to $20000 sometimes for a live... once again, think before you post.
Also, if I was in this just for the money, I would be working on film sound tracks. The money I make from trance is shit compared to what I can get for scoring some commercials or tv shows... I know, I've worked in that business before as well. |

but as i see it ,
the "psy scene " is not realy sky high right now .
its the human basic need to leave something after him, and we all share it together the need.
to keep that scene and help it grow each and his own reason.
if nate is in it for the money
take my word his doing it from his soul .
for money he can always turn to the euro trance ,dance, all the shity ganers.
but his in it cause this music touched him once and he has that spark in him as to all the rest of the psy artist .
now please take a min
and remember the feeling you had when you realy got what the psy music is for the first time ,
the warm bass that came from the loud speakers remember ha?
now channel this memory and make money out of it so we will keep on living and make more parties

that i find pretty wierd. Just let the people vote for the ones they think ARE the best and we will get a serious top. Wich would be very intressting to read.
but its just my 2 cents.
i think for example nate, im, atomic pulse and those guys doing pretty well either they end up in place nr #6 or #110
