Ive heard your other sets bro.
Killer mixing with great tracks.

I expect the morning set to be killer as well with acts like protoculture and flip flop.

Heard the set bro.Very nice looping especially in the astrix song in the beginning.
Gotta ask. What equipment are u using ?

Good work but i enjoy your track selection even better in your night/twilight sets.

@ psy-junky
i make all my sets on atomix's virtual dj. haven't managed to scrape enough money to buy any real equipment. glad you liked the set though. yeah the tracklist might not be as tight as what i normally try my hand at, but i like to change things up once in a while. at the moment im trying something a bit more for the forests, lets see how that turns out.           www.soundcloud.com/ishikawa

Ya i figured you used VDJ cause i use the same. i think it would be difficult to have such precise versatile looping on cdj's without looking at the waveforms.

I use VDJ with dual sound cards each handling one channel output to a external Behringer DJX700 mixer.
I'm looking to invest in a Numark DJIO kind of device to get better latency etc. Cant really seem to find one in India.

So you just exclusively use the software or do you combine any hardware with it ?

at the moment i use only the software - no hardware. i have kill switches for the eqs assigned to my keyboard so that i can pull off the timing just right. and i dont really loop much while recording. i do use the loop function to get my beat matching right but thereafter once the track transition starts i turn the looping off. the waveforms really make it pretty easy, even when seeing which tracks go well together, when compared to standard cdjs with a mixer. it would get a whole lot more precise though with a behrinder bcd 3000 like controller. do add me on msn if you'd like to talk some more
