Dj Akasha aka Patricia Carvalho, is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. After a trip to London in the mid 90s where she had her first experience of underground electronic music and an international crowd she decided to travel further, and ended up in the Goa, India, where she discovered psy-trance.
After returning to Brazil she started djing and she is now one of the resident djs of the biggest psy trance indoor clubs in Brazil including the legendary Klatu and Club A.
Her sets are famous for the mystic energy that she projects to the dance floor. Dj Akasha is one of the most frequently booked djs in Brazil and has been an Alchemy dj since the beginning of 2004." |
