Actually that's not quite a hang drum, that's more of a tongue drum of some kind. It doesn't make sound in the same way as a hang drum, and sounds quite different. Still sounds pretty cool, but (imo) nowhere near a real hang drum.
http://www.grassrootsdiy.com/hang_drum.htm has some instructions on how to build a 'real' hang drum.
Anyway, http://dennishavlena.com/for-webpage-lp-hang.htm has more instructions for building a hank drum, including measurements for the u shapes. |
