agreed. it brings to mind the notion of spiritual materialism, that has been highlighted by buddhist thought as a dangerous potential pitfall on the path to enlightenment. ein chadash tachat hashemesh. there is nothing new under the sun. --kohelet. |

Indeed.
That which *is* cannot be made *ism*.
The wisest man knows how little he knows.
No offense to our curious researcher here. |

You could always just use some of the Hemi-Sync technology that exists today.

I have a few of their cds and can vouch for their effectiveness for many uses. I have used this technology for background sound during kundalini meditations and have seen the benefits. Highly suggested!

i do not believe anyone was trying to be a hypocrite. people naturally defend or protect a side which is unmentioned... and therefore makes a picture seem imbalanced.
some posts made here are to protect the fact that spirituality is indefinite.
some posts, such as the previous powerful one, are to remind us that we ourselves are a part of the definition.
ahhhhhh to be both black and white all at once. divine balance?!

What is this link all about? It presumably monetize the road to enlightenment (assuming it exists) and no way Kundalini is a path. That's what Colin is saying.

With respect, those may be some of my words in your sentence but the meaning is far from clear from your text, and I am uncomfortable with others offering interpretation of my posts when I am ready to offer any clarification needed myself. Whilst I follow none of the traditional spiritual traditions (and at the risk of misunderstanding what you wrote) I know people who believe that Kundalini Yoga is one of the many roads to 'wisdom'/'enlightenment'/whatever, and who insist they have felt the truth of it in their own lives.
I also do have a strong feeling that claiming ownership over patterns of - and methods of manipulation of - the processes of thought and music-making works against the process of realising individual human potential, not for it, as ownership of a thing immediately divides the world into those who we grant access to it, and those who we do not. I believe the pursuit of lightness of being through self-understanding is something we all have a right to, as it is a completely internal process (as opposed to something that takes place outside ourselves) and apparent barriers to this should be questioned. It follows for me that research into methods of making this way of living available to more people are to be thoroughly applauded, as long as the intention is to make them universally and freely available as soon as possible.
Of course I may have misunderstood the motives of those quoted in the OP What the fuck do I know about anything, after all.
