I got my hands on a copy of the latest offering of the distance compi's.  And all I can think is that they seriously need to change the name of the cmopilation, the music on those disc is quite far from Goa (then again, I suppose it is quite a distance ;-)).  Having said this though, I actually like it, in fact it's one of my fav. distance comps.  On the first disc starts off witha couple of crossover type tracks leaning more to the progressive than the psychedelic (Pascal F.E.O.S remixing a Gabriel Le Mar track) moving into the realms of the more psychedelic towards the end of the first disc.

Then the second disc (a mix disc by Joti Sidhu)
brings with it his style of music.  A few tracks from sphere, and to top it off, crunchy moles is on there as well. So all in all it makes for an enjoyable listening experience.  It's not the hardest or most psychedelic disc I've ever heard, but when you just don't feel like standing behind the mixer or messing on the pc with your own stuff, it's nice to have a disc that you can throw on that has a couple of decent tracks in a properly mixed set.  Explorations still tops it as a mixed disc tho. :-)

I gave this Cd a listen, aND all I can say is that almost all the tracks are pretty bad.
No interesting effects & basses, and very bad arrangment.
Not my Style...
