Well since i posted this the HD's angel of death knocked my PC again and i had to reinstall Windows from the scratch.
Luckily I have almost all my stuff backed up and even more luckily i have a spare HD for now on. I'll send my HD meantime to reanimation sector. I hope he'll stay alive for li'l bit longer...           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

if a ide disk has bad sectors, replace it ... nomatter what you do, it will die, corrupt data, and lots of other evil things

scsi disks have hardware features to disable damaged sectors and are little bit better at this... still i'd replace the disks as fast as i can           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!
