guys, please note that Candy is one of the more contributing members of this forum. I got the pleasure of meeting her myself, and that's why I was suprised to see such a post from her.
its true that the GOA spirit is harder to find these days, maybe in really underground parties. Most ppl who know what the ritual of dance means are older now and most are not into it anymore (family, maturity...). So the crowd is mostly composed of younger generation 'who did not know moses' as we say in Hebrew. So naturaly the composition and essence of the party is different. These girls probably have no idea who is Raj and what he means to us older generation as one of the first to be there when it happend back in the begining of the 90s. For them this is just another geezer with KILLLAAA music.
No point to cry over spilled milk, I think the best is to accept the change and enjoy the music wherever it is.

No raver I dont always find things to fight about but when I see comment like yours I frankly get disgusted.... sorry.... You of all people of the world should know how ugly racism is... And yet I daily see racistic comments from people from israel about Arsims and other people that dont "fit" into the scene.
So sorry if i dare to critisise your views. You of course have the right to disagree.
I am not even going to comment on djnomolos's 1st post (the 2nd is not even worth reading). But it's a school example and make my point even more clear |

It is a global problem, but Israel is one of most infected countries (by the way Ars is Hebrew translation of Infected, Poison.....)
What do you want, they growned up on Infected stuff, Astrix, GMS,Talamasca and other full-on stuff they don't know who is Boris Blenn, Johann, Total Eclipse, Deviant Electronics, Double Dragon, Sandman e.t.c.
They think Goa is style but not state in west of India.... I saw one guy who thougt what Simon is a Israeli who is living in USA!!!!!!!!!

People obviously haven't been dragged to big commercial clubs lately. The hedonism in places like haoman 17 in haifa includes rooms that are there for people to have sex in (girls with girls, girls with boys, boys with boys, and larger groups of people as well from time to time), people are dressed in much less than in psytrance party (sometimes hilariously unpractical, especially the shoes), dance to anything the DJ will play no matter how crap it is (especially if he's a big international one), take loads of MDMA (and/or cocaine, alcohol and the such), and are all about the pose.
The psytrance party has become WAY more commercial with time, that is true (in Israel especially in the last year and a half), but it's not even close to being a party where for what everyone cares the DJ could be playing polka with a bassdrum because they are pumped with drugs and hormones. What people call the 'bad crowd' are just the type of crowd that doesn't give a shit about the music as long as it is pounding and dancing to it is not their top priority. I do agree Barmalei but I cant stop thinking that it's also racistic. Believe me I have been to Israel a few times and listened to all the ugly comments about "Arsim's" at the parties... Of course no one will admit here what they really say in private conversations but it's way more harsh (and very racistic) than anything you'll read here. Which do lead me to the conclusion that some people here have avery hard time accepting anyone that dont fall into the category "true" psy-trancer This is the whole essense in my opinion of course - NOT the endless excuses that they steal and are violent.
And yes there's lot's of "different" looking people at the Danish parties.... Do you see me complaining about it all the time? No I choose to be positive about them and guess what! They are not so bad in the end when you get to know them. |

In a party me and my partner made some year ago, where u played too, was quite nice crowd, candy was there too and many our friends.. While u were having fun, we almost got stabbed twice and Yossi ( my partner )was a month after that threatened on his life because we didn't want those ppl that u love, come in with balloons and tons of aggressiveness.
Now I dont really know how much rights u have mr. E to judge us, while sitting behind yer computer screen in DK.. I consider myself rather left wing on the political map, of the kind that my own ppl would be rather furious if they have heard what I have to say about some things.. But u r really out of line my man... U talk about things u really dont know and u surely dont share, and every single time try to make ppl here look racist or bad in some other way..
Maybe it will be good for u to relax and chill out dude - make some shanti ohm music..

How come you instantly link it to something political Yuli? I am not at all talking about anything political here !
But I have found out that some people in this forum (you included Yuli) take critisism very hard and instantly think it's political motivated... Maybe your the one that need to chill a bit and realise that not everything in life have to be political?
And believe me because I say what I believe in I am one of the most critisised people in this forum. Do you see me cry over that? no chance mate I stand by my word and count on that some peope wont agree with me.
If you cant take critisism when you write things like Raver did (just look at the headline) then you should not write such things in hte first place. But if it's sensorship and lack of freedom of speach you want in this forum then by all means go ahead and silence me.
And I still stand by my word that it's totally out of place to write what raver wrote.. Maybe if she had written it more nice and objective whitout a headline that says " disgusting" I would have seen her writing in adifferent light. But because of the harsh judging in her text I can not see it any different than I already did. |
