I want to start producing again with ancient hardware. What alesis synth you using?

The Battle Synth Andromeda.

You still have an FS1R? Still not sure if that synth is worth the time to program.

Well... I don't think I would buy it now but as I have had it for so long I know my way arround it. You need the FS1R editor software though (PC only) because without it, it is one hell of a pain in the backside to program.

I really have to call bullshit on this whole lack of soul thing.... You won't find soul in machines, you'll find a distinct quirk to it of course, but the real soul lies in the person using the machine. I recently started using hardware, mainly because my friends finally went out and bought some. I have to admit that there are some software synths that don't really hold a candle to some hardware ones, but at the same time there are some things you can do quickly and easily with software that would drive you bananas to try to do with hardware. The best route is to use them both if you can. One thing the discovery has over the nord... built in trance gate....           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Undertow, you have it made man!

what i would do for an Andromeda
now that is a synth that you cannot compare to any software, or any virtual analog hardware to come out recently.. blows the balls of a Virus or Nord easily!           Gamma Riders EP out now on iTunes and Amazon.com!

Sounds great and mighty phat. Is that 100 % Andromeda?           When rain dries, clouds form.
