Discovery Automations on FL

Ive searched and found two threads about this but i didn't understand a thing!
All im trying is to automate the frequency on the Discovery, but its not recording it.
What is the way to do this on FL5?

upper left corner of vst window => browse parameters => right click
for me it also doesnt record and last tweaked parameter doesnt work either |

after the right click you can also link the parameter to a X-Y Controller for real time automations instead of drawing

Fruity's "link to controller" - "edit events"options or the generator's properties wont work with my version of discovery DSP too.
I don't know if that happens cause it's a Dx version (not sure if it's vst or DX actually) .
If you have the same problem Dark_dork ,the answer is to use a midi out channel to automate discovery.

It is easier in this case to go to the browser select Current Project -> Generators -> Discovery -> rightclick the parameter u want to automate
