Hey guys, well i have seen some posts about a problem with discovery automation and im still without solution! Well, i tried different versions up to 2.2 and none of them worked(The usual way to automate any vst). Then i saw a Tip that was saying i should go to the midi piano roll and edit there, at the same place where the properties (velocity, pan, etc..) are, should also be the numbers of the parameters of discovery that i suppose i can automate(Numbers related do each discovery's knobs)! The thing is, in FLstudio there are just the normal properties (velocity, pan, vol, etc) and two of them named as "unused" ! Am i missing something here or fruit loops is not able to do it? Is cubase able to do it? (To show me numbers related to discovery's knobs at the piano roll properties)
Well, i also saw some tip saying i should go and edit the events, that there is a list of effects.. But im a bit confused here, cause all i do when i try to edit some event is going by the chanell setting, but i cant see any events there related to discovery! Where i edit those event of this list of effects???
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! |

You must get the Midi numbers of discovery somewhere in the Web.
I once had a .jpg wich had a pic of discovery and the respective number for each knob. I lost it tho, but im sure you can find it on the net.
After that you open your midi controler (in FL as you said) and associate the main knob to the number of the discovery know you want to automate.
The only bad thing is that you'll need 1 midi controller for each knob. |

hi!
if your talking about cubase, then i had the same problem automating discovery through the w/r bottons.
but what i did is open the vst automation folder, search the discovery channel in it,
and automate with drawing in the automation points. |

you using fruity ?
top left corner of your discovery window - there should be a menu that says "link to controller". link the discovery knob to your midi controller, and then press the record button. simple. |

Well, when I used discovery I couldn't just automate by moving the buttons. I had to search the CC numbers (actually a friend gave them to me) and link a controler to wich one I wanted to automate. |
