It's customary sometimes when artist/label decide to offer a crowd (in a party, in one time sale etc) discounted albums, or giving them with no charge, for promotion(Blanka album in last Badulina party in Isreal, Revolve Magazin Summer 2005 + cd).
Do you see it as good promotion and support this initiative? Do you find it as a personal failure of an artist and meanness of art and profession?
What about you guys who prefer not to buy albums, does it make you to buy it? You think this is more reasonable price (20-40 nis, very cheap) for a new album?
