Disconnection

Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a mass disconnection occurring? I've been to countless forums, and while I was never a regular on this particular one - It seems that many forums are becoming inactive or disappearing all together. What's going on in the world of EDM?

Facebook kills forums time wise, but at the same time it can't create new communities or as deep discussions as forums.

is it really just facebook? i've looked around multiple local psy-related facebook pages and there's not a lot going on there either. and obviously no good discussions like on forums. most of it is an endless stream of "xxx is going, yyy likes this" (if it's a party/festival) plus advertisement spam of completely unrelated events, necklaces and people spamming their horribly weak tracks that would get abysmal feedback here in the workshop. surely people cannot leave forums for that?
i've also checked psy-related reddits and over there it's even more empty than here or on psynews...
where have all the people gone? |

The other thing is that isra's register option is down... think the creators gave up..
