I don't want to go any more mad. I don't like the weird stuff that seems to be the trend, nowdays. Mad/weird does not mean psychedelic to me, it just means, mad/weird.
I don't want to confuse my self when I make music, and I certainly don't want to confuse others. I make music to find a way out of the things that confuse me and make me feel like I am on a bad trip when I am straight.
Guess I am just old fashioned

hey man im not trying to force you to do something else, just a opinion i had =)
And i read you arguments though i think art has more to it than just that...
living in a world where your home(and the world around you) is mostly made out of squares and circles it can be a little refreshing with some abstract art, both visual and musical..
of course melody and straight structure is nice, but its not so much food for thought all the time..
i and about psychedelic, to be honest, not a lot of music is, in my opinion psychoacoustics is what is psychdelic...

Yes, (some) abstract stuff, I like, as long as its consonant.
There is some consonant abstractness in the new album (pretty much done now by the way). And there will be more consonant abstractness.
