sweet work... but cant help my self thinking it would be more juicy with a fatter bottom end...(kick and bass wise)           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

I mixed this in with sliiightly less sub in the bassline and kick. Hearing our tunes out on a Function 1 system and people's tracks that I have at home and A&B with our mixes, I came to the conclusion that a big P.A. will output shitloads of bass, even when you think there is barely enough in your mixes...some of our tunes were almost too much on the bottom end and I want to try this way of mixing out for a bit, try it in our next gig in Holland (where we played last year and I know they have a good system) to decide if I am going to make our mixes slightly less bassy...having said that I will also make a mix with the bass channel up 1dB and make the kick's tail slightly longer to give it some more bottom end. Keep that mix and go to people's studios and see which one I like the most.

Cheers for the feedback.

Peace out.

Agreed. Defo another mix on the way and see what sounds best. Better be safe than sorry, innit.
Will post on here as well.

True .

I like one part here who remind me the past (The old and the far good days of the 90's ) - 02:24 To 02:50 This is 1x1 Sandman (Itsik levi) But this could't realy connect to this style and sure its a matter of taste . I miss here more action (Of sounds - Harmony of tools and levels who bring all be sound more grand , Different loops .. More variations , Some how sounds here repeating themself again and again and thats can make me nuts - But this is just me) .

Keep the good work m8

No . Why .. ?
And for what ?

This is not only about 1-2 Up/Down db here or there And also no need make the kik longer - Will not help you at all .. Inverse - Dont touch the kik ! Will damage the all built/Pattern - You should keep some air inside (Between the bass & Kik) So i dont realy understand what you trying to do . What you have/should do its not only to work on the mix/(Or 1-2 db here or there) - This is the eazy work (Orange : 'Needs more life down under') You have/Need/Must more machines/Effects on ! , This whats bring you 'Life' in .

Orange was talking about the bottom end,I had a go at low cutting the bassline a bit higher than I usually do. I sort the mix out so that the bottom end gets a bit phatter. Arrangement wise n music wise I am quite happy with the track, as the more I listen to it the more I like it.

hear your music from another (And outside) 'Point of view' .

Cheers ..

It's cool mate I appreciate the feedback. I don't expect people to like 100% of the stuff I make. It's why I post stuff on here so we can have achat about things and in the case of the way I mix things, I am never 100% sure I get things right and would like a second opinion from people who I believe, are good engineers.

Peace out.
