For what it's worth, £1.99 for 5+ track is a great price. Keeping in mind that Beatport would charge six easy payments of £29.99 for the same thing.

out of interest, what price do people consider reasonable for individual tracks? currently have them set at 99p but fear this may be too high. £1.99 for 5+ track ep's seems right, and all the albums are £4.99, but if even these are too much, would love some feedback. thanks

I think those prices are quite reasonable. You couldn't make it yourself for that! 
I think the 99p per track is okay, and it promotes people buying the whole release rather than just the few tracks they like the most - which helps to keep the artform of the "album" alive.... but regardless, fair price i say. |

+1, those prices are fine I'd happily pay 99p for each track in flac format, works out about the same price as a cd so it makes sense. |

well it would depend on the release but I wouldn't want to spend any more than about £8 for 10 tracks assuming it was a whole album. |

Ideally I'd like to see a full album go for ~$10USD in FLAC/WAV. Being a collector, my thinking is that if costs just a few dollars more for the CD (something tangible I can fondle and look at artwork) then I'll pay the premium for the packaging. Then again, my preference is for the CD and I usually only buy FLAC/WAV when no CD is available. |

"Big Label" CDs at big stores here in India cost between 2$ - 5$ (USD)
Psy/Downtempo releases are very few... just 10-12 releases a year.
So we have no choice but to pay online prices @ 12$ per CD. A big chunk given we earn in Rupees. The cost of one CD is the monthly salary of 20-25% of the people living here! (But that's besides the point)
So ideally essential digital releases should be in the middle. On the high side say 8$ (8 USD/5.5 Euro/5 Pounds) per release.
But for psytrance I would say go cheaper given the mass of releases out there. Sell your stuff for 4 USD, and get traffic while covering your basic costs... and then think about the bizness.

Some excellent tracks there. Totally fit the mood since I was listening to the new LS Steel Trap EP just before. That's a huge chunk of cash for the CD though. Limited to 10 or no.  You make my wallet cry, Gabriel. |

All those sites charging the same amount of $$ (or even more) for a digital download as for physical cd make me VERY angry :/
