hello guys & gals,
Once again, aldebaran (thalitos 31, poseidonio) is kind and supportive enough to host the Digital Utopia project. Every sunday, from 4pm to 8pm you are welcome to join us for a cup of coffee and enjoy a chilly selection of music, ranging from ambient and psy-chillout all the way to experimental electronica and downtempo trance. IT Record Shop supports these sunday sessions by offering 3 free cds (promo & retail) every sunday (just come and ask me for one!).

This is a unique project for Thessaloniki, I am not aware of any other place (cafe/bar) that supports these styles of music, which I find ideal for a relaxing sunday afternoon. The honest truth is that this kind of project depends critically on the support of the people (and not on the faith of aldebaran owners...). If you believe (as I do) that there should be more places in this city where you can listen to something different, fresh and original, then I ask you to stand by this effort. We can prove that a musically diverse Thessaloniki is not a pipe dream.

as we said....Different Musik is for those who care for different than the usual sounds.....
we live in a country of massive 'mainstreams' and digital utopians...
