"An Australian artist! That should be an energy injection" I said to myself once this CD reached my doorstep. The first listen brought with it a strong headache, sounded all like a big mess of sounds but following the second and third listen I started to obtain just the right knowledge to start understanding what this was all about. Following a thorough listen my thoughts stayed the same and even acceded. This album is full of ideas, at times a bit much, but after noticing the logic behind the sounds you start to understand what a magical album this really is. The CD launches with Mexican Jesus, it is a very good opener, nice use of vocals that doesn't harm the power & rapid this track holds. The only problem I had was with BAD use of the guitar. Infernal Angels, is a very nice track that kicks and punches you with all that is possible. The melodies, FX sounds and the great structure just works perfectly, sliding from total darkness into shivering light, chaotic whispers through the background. PASS The Buck is above all my favorite track here, gave my soul a kick in the butt, pure fun all the way through.

After carefully listening to this album it is apparent to me that Adam Walter ( aka Scatterbrain ) is a great upcoming talent, I believe he will rock the scene with his next album, when a slight of maturity will be obtained some more. Don’t take this the wrong way, this is a very good release with some amazing tracks in it but behind all the screaming and ideas you can hear that Adam Walter could do much better and I guess he will do it in the future. Rise and shine Adam Walter, this is a great debut album!!!

Great release, not exactly a great sound quality release but full of great psyhedelic ideas and great concept.
When I hear this it looks like a killer mix of Psyside with Promon.
Real nice stuff but you must have some quality sound system if you don't want a headache.
I'll give it a 7/10           Opus Iridium

For development to happen, innovation must take place, and this is where labels like Digital Psionics step in to give a voice to those who don’t always follow convention. They have proved this to us in the past and they are once again proving it to us with this artist offering from their latest eclectic find Scatterbrain. Infernal Angel is pure psychedelic dancefloor fodder, don’t get me wrong, but tied in with that is an intelligence that knows the form, and more importantly knows how to twist that form inside out. Hidden amongst the chaos of Infernal Angel are threads that tie together to give the whole album an air of ultra tight coherence.

Scatterbrain's Infernal Angel is definately a step forward. I can understand that its extreme experimentalism is a bit too much for some (you guys are even mentioning headaches!), but in my opinion this is a great CD.
Track 9, Pass the Buck, has some interestingly political messages in the samples, its kinda Goapolitics i guess...

I agree with P_Mac, this CD is "a must have"!           Who's to say that beings more powerful than man are neccessarily wiser?

I hate to explain my reviews, but I guess I will do it now.

Since Scatterbrain making very special music some times I got the feeling that he need upgrade in the production and not in the music.

His music is great but sometimes doenst stand in the same standart with the production.

I love this album , And i cant see what is wrong when I say that his future look much brighter.

Yes, that was I was saying to. The sound is incredible but the production in not so good. Too many sounds in the same frequencies and many unclean samples.           Opus Iridium

I think Scatterbrain's Infernal Angel is one of the most innovative and pure sounding releases I have heard. This album is fast becoming among my all-time favs. If you listen to the way the tracks are put together you'll realise that everything is put there for a reason. Some sounds bleed together like a ink, others create a holy war by thrashing. If this doesn't get your heart racing then check your pulse because you're probably dead!

This album is a MUST for anyone who love their psy...           _______________________________-______________________________
