what are they up to these days?
new releases...that DVD thing...
what kind of sound are they pursuing?

Hi luiz ...
Daniel, Dudu and Troia still working on the dvd story but this is a fucking hard work and take a long time ... Daniel had buy a new 80 gigabites hard disk just for this dvd mixing ... lets wait for it .... they have work and uni all week so they work only on the weekend thats why its not so fast...
Now they are also working on the new digital nonsense tracks (dance floor full on stille) and a new live set ... very diferent of the old one...
Daniel its starting a new project called Dan Polash that is more comercial "daft punk" stile that is very good and Dudu have his solo project called hitchcock that is inside the psytechno stille...
We are also trying for the 4 th time hahahaha to do the lipe vrs digital but we always lost the way hahahahahaha .....
Wait for the overlap copilation that i hope heheh its gona be out ou july .... It will have some news from the digi boys

If they stick with psy trance for the future.......watch out for The Digital Nonsense man, they will be one of the best in the future for sure, I guarantee and I say that because I heard their new stuff and its outstanding already!!! |

Surely Digital Nonsense breathes fresh air into the scene. They´re amazingly creative, and extremely talented. But, as most young folks do, they lack some focus and discipline, they still didn´t quite stick to a style, which in my opinion, prevents them from fully maturing as artists. Dudu showed his new work to me, "Old Movie", and yes, it dwelves into the psytechno arena, hammering quite dark tunes. For those who enjoy this sort of sound, it is a nicely crafted jewel. But, for me, they´re at their prime within a more melodic framework, like in "Weird Lady", which incorporates lots of creative and local elements, such as a swinging and remarkable bossa nova like intro, which quickly gives place to a decided and agressive kick, then unfolding the "main" theme, which really has a story of its own. In this line, Dudu also showed to me a new Digital Nonsense tune, which is sooooo cool, nice to hear, nice dancing to it, a blend of Astrix & Klangstrahler styles, carefully produced & mixed, with some background live vocal effects. But they MUST stick to the psytrance. That´s their natural trade.
