I have a question about these guyz:

Do you consider them to be a psytrance act?
i ask this because they are being talked about by many people in the psy community, even though their style isn't quite "psy-ish" imo...

btw, i really liked "Human" - grinding track!           MiniMAL cabron...

No, since they don't consider themselves a psytrance act. Nor do they charge for a gig like a psytrance act. nor are they releasing on psytrance lables. most people have only heard Human, but they have at least 4 or 5 other tracks released as well, and the only reason Trancers know Human is cause it was on the Baloons comp. but this is exactly the music I like (on the other hand, I've heard human played at big house parties here in IL)           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

Digby and Oliver, an Ozzie Club duo. releasing on Zero Tolerance (British Club label) had a track in one of the recent GU CD's (can't mem which) the track on the baloons comp is a licence from Zero tolerance.
if you like them check out DJ Nukem, Chab, and mixsets by John Digweed, Cass, Lee Burrige and Steve Lawler.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

A little correction Borris , Zero Tolerance is an Australian label:-)
here u go for the interested:

DIGBY & OLIVIER

A name to remember for two of Melbourne's most well-known and respected DJs, Jason Digby and Gab Olivier. Both have carved solid reputations for their DJ duties, with both having played at practically every club, party, or event in Melbourne.

Jason's busy DJ diary has seen him hold a five year residency in a popular clubbing resort of Bali in Indonesia, as well as two tours of Japan and a recent visit to Singapore for the Gucci party. Way back in early 1997 he was commissioned by Stress Records Australia to mix `Classic Progressive House' which featured seminal progressive & epic house tracks of the time.

Gab meanwhile has been busy carving himself a career in the studio, co-producing tracks as `Narcotik' (Blue, 12 Miles, Conditions) and `Deep funk Project" (2 Heavy, Dirty Logic), all of which have had major support from main international DJs like Nick Warren, Sasha, Danny Howells, and ex-pat Anthony Pappa. His current DJ residencies include Melbourne's legendary `Sunny' monthly parties and he has recently mixed the Zero Tolerance compilation album, entitled `No Nonsense' which is due for release early 2002.

With combined DJing experience of over 25 years, Jason and Gab's studio collaborations were always going to have all the elements necessary to rock a dance floor.

Their first single, `Oracle', was quickly snapped up by UK DJ Dave Seaman for worldwide release on his Therapy Music label, with Dave also including it on his Renaissance `Desire' mix-CD. If you caught Dave at the 2001 Two Tribes festival in Melbourne you would have heard him drop `Oracle' as his opening track.

Their follow-up release `Human' was released in September 2001 and featured on John Creamers Ministry magazine mix-CD, earned a place in Mixmag's `Five to buy this month' section, made it into the 7 mag Buzz chart and was played by Pete Tong on his essential selection show.

Their next release is `Seven Stones' which will feature on Anthony Pappa's upcoming 'Resolution' CD for React, as well as Pako & Fredericks mix CD and the Zero Tolerance 'No Nonsense' album. Vinyl will be available at the end of March.

Upcoming releases include the subtly grooving `Sunshower', which has been raising the roof at Melbourne's Earthcore parties.

Both these tracks will be forthcoming on Melbourne's Zero Tolerance imprint.

peter didjital told me a while ago that they "broke up" cause of fighting between them and that mpdqx didnt want the remix they made cause it was 14 minutes long and went nowhere.

Or what was released a long time ago with a different remix.           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

Gab Olivier also releases under the act Precision, with some awesome releases including a great track on the Exotic Native 'After-Eclipse' CD.

Check the Zero Tolerance No-Nonsense disc. 1 side mixed , one side not. Great CD it is. Also check out releases by Jono Fernandez and Luke Chable, other Zero Tolerance boys.

Check out http://www.dmcrecords.com.au/. The Zero Tolerance section is being updated.
