Different ways to use a sidechain ?

Hi wonder if there is a way to use a sidechainer to get wav samples and effects well synchronized with the tempo of a song.
Because often i have difficulties to match wav samples to the tempo and the flow of the song dissapears.In a lot psy music everything sounds so well synchronized, how is it done ?
Please help me out

Precision precision and some more precision ... It seems like you want time stretching rather than sidechaining though ...
