Sorry, didn't mean it to come across like I was all annoyed or anything just it's been discussed a great deal, and for me it's quite simple, goa trance, psy trance, progressive, 'maximal' trance or whatever, it's all psychedelic music, and the great thing about psychedelic music is that if you can appreciate it in all it's forms, you'll find it's the same music utilizing different technologies that are available at the time...

I 100% agree with psydruid.
That is one of the better descriptions that I have heard.
Psytrance is just the evolvement into more modern music of today of which goa was the originator, together with tribal music. Everything changes for the better, and as far as I see it, if something doesnt change it will become stale and nobody would really be interested anymore. That is just the way of things, change is inevitable. IMO |

psydruid is right! I think good examples of Goa would be those really early releases of Dragonfly's compils such as Order Donata and other releases, those are GoA |
