Right, I'm looking for something fairly specific. For one it's got to be artists who are fairly proficent at playing and recording a didjeridu. Also it has to be a modern chill sort of sound... mainly featuring a lot of didj playing.
I'm starting to think there isn't anything beyond a few one off tracks with sampled didj, which is nice, but I want to hear music that was written along a specific didj part, with complex didj based rythms.
I hope to make this sort of music some day, but at the mo my didj skills are quite limited, but I'm looking for inspiration and perhaps something that's fun to jam along to.
All replies shall be cherished |

Me and a friend (JohnnyM meets Dr Chill Uptown...) did an ambient dub epic remix of "Sunarise" - the Rolf Harris tune!
Indidginus used to do a fair bit of didj type stuff - and if you go back to the early/mid 90s - seemingly every festival dancey band in the Uk had a didj on their tracks - but it seems to have fallen from favour (a bit like juggling and alien t-shirts...) |

I'll second the inlakesh recommendation, great stuff!

Also check 'arbre noir', it's well suited to most taste here.

ps. are you the same "soulfood" that worked with inlakesh before?

Sadly not, just some random guy that thought it would be a cool name to post under. But I'm really liking their stuff. I especially am enjoying Arbre Noir... me see's a back catalogue run happening soon |
