was googling this yesterday.
what i turned up was... very little
old kvr forums with dead links, an old exs24 mapped samplepack with... more dead links...
though this would rock. would love to hear a good one.

I used to make them out of PVC pipe. They're not super authentic, but they can have a surprisingly good sound. I was thinking about making a new one soon in D#, and recording some samples of me playing it. If I end up doing that, I'll share the samples. |

almost every synth works for me there.
i make a saw wave and with a slow lfo on pitch.
lpf with a 50 to 75 % of res and just play a note
usualy d or b,c is good too, doesnt matter, and just
play with the cutoff freq.
and some note on the low(or where it fits) for freq collision for the growling sound
create ur own patch  or use a sample
