get these 2 tracks, and listen carefully... very interesting

1 - Ballroom - Passenger ( MArc 'o Tool RMX) - 2001 ( Progressive House with a touch of commercialism)

2 - Ticon - waiting for the knights - 2003 (Progress - minimal trance )

now listen carefully, this a great example for the evolvment of electronic music and especially ripping and coyping of ideas

Great work Ticon! Great work MArc'o Tool!

the 1st track was a crazy club hit in 2001
the 2nd came in 2003 for the woods.

Just a nice thing to listen too... enjoy,.

I didn't listen to these 2 tracks but another example would be:
(sorry I forgot the names)

Track no.1 - Pure Analogue - Silicon sound
Track no.4 - Moments - Fatali

If I'm not wrong Silicon sound's track was released 1st.

Then, did Fatali copy Silicon Sound or is it just a coincidence?
It could also be that it's a coincidence I am not making a statemnet here but just asking your opinions.

Gets me thinking about some other songs like: Dynamix - Planet Ben (shameless Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer melody) or Safi Connection's 'Vainish' (Culture Beat's "mr vain" ripoff)           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

A couple of weeks ago I was at a friend's place and he usually listens to excellent music.
He was playing an ambient album (which I don't know the name) and the quality of the music was indeed very good but:
The artsit used a melody which I hate to death in 2 of his tracks!
Do you remember the commercial track called:
"Seven days & 1 week"?
That melody ended up making me hate all the ambient album I was listening to because of this cheesy annoying melody!

Oops!
I hope this album was not produced by anyone in this forum!
If that's the case:
sorry mate in just my opinion.
No offence intended!

There are many examples on that subject.

from the top of my memory I can recall 2 very easily:

1st: Mechanix - Hit & Run (2003) vs. Psychotic Micro - My Dying prayer (2004)

And Dino Psaras - Daisy Cutter rmx (early 2004) vs. Jodi Shitu 1st track of the latest album.

Andres, You've noticed in the past simmilarity between:

Ticon - Some Simple Sounds
vs
Nick Beat - Technodisco (Pascal Feos Remix)

Also Der Dritte Raum - HaleBopp
vs
Son kite - recieve.          Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.
Progression Sessions of the 3rd Empire!

Another lack of ideas:

Younger Brother - Scanner VS Hallucinogen - Bubble & Tweak.

and:

Twisted Allstars - Blue Skies on Mars VS Hallucinogen & Tristan - Stretch Tastic.

All the tunes rock but the resemblance is hard to ignore (for me at least)           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Fingax --> Pay attention to the melodies in the end. They sound like different interpretations of the same melody. To me anyways.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
