it's always a relief and joy to find people who think, act and create differently than most of us

the dewan brothers are a good example and they make interesting sounding and looking synths. i think trent reznor is using them among others.

the sound of the hymnotorn is huge. i like
the titles of the knobs too "quake" , "nimbus" & "orbit" + the whole presentation is hilarious:

I agree... I'd like to see new synth which forces you to think and accomplish things differently than more of the same recycle point of view. look at movies they are fukn cartoons from when i was growing up... same ol' same o' I'd like to see more stuff like the ems synthi which can be very unpredictable. The digital should stay itb and the hardware synth companies like nord, roland should be more focus in analog technology perhaps build a jupiter all analog but add a section that is digital and perhaps some wavetables. All these guys do is repackage the same shit and add more polyphony lol
what a joke jupiter 80 anyone haha, yeh i'll have 3 to go (yeh right) seriously though not much diversity in todays market everyone just bout doing the same
the hartmann neuron was a nice change but quite honestly that was a fuckn hi-tech sampler with fx mixed computer/keyboard like MEKO... I had the dam thang for crying out loud. it was unfinished and had tons of bugs yet it somehow was beautiful in the end with all those flaws. but it was far from what it was made out to be, not really a synth it was a fukn sampler think FAIRLIGHT... any how enuff ramblin from me. Those synths you mentioned are quite great and genuine cheers and thanks for those videos;
