I want to make my own vsts using C or C++ and was wondering if there are others who do the same who could point me in the direction of toolkits, libraries and tutorials? Tried searching around abit for this allready but havn't really found much

hi psilonaut, you will need:

- vstsdk (you can get that from steinberg: http://www.steinberg.de/324_0.html)
- a c/c++ compiler (in my opinion, get mingw (www.mingw.org), don't use microsoft's visual studio, arghz0rz! sorry

)
(- as a later step if your plugin works the way you want, you can work on a gui for it if you like: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vstgui/)

with these minimal requirements, you'll be able to build dlls for use as a vst plugin.

reaktor 5 ,,, the most powerful tool for contruction vsts...

if u know programming then best of luck with making ur own vsts with this software

its a software by native instruments ...

ill upload the pdf tutorial for u soon
