DETRITUS: About a year after his previous live in Athens, David Dando-moore returns for another unique live appearance. A necessary act for many big festivals around the world and having played numerous gigs in many European capitals (Paris, Moscow, Berlin, London etc.), it’s more than obvious that he will offer a magnificent live set on Saturday the 17th of May @ BIOS. Deeply evocative, beautifully special and totally emotional in each of his live appearances (whoever has seen him in the past, knows what to expect for), DETRITUS, right after the release of his amazing 3rd album, “Fractured”, he will deliver a magic mix of downtempo / soundtrack music with intense drum’n bass as well as some ethnic and world music references, balancing ideally between acoustic simplicity and deep, emotionally extreme outbreaks. Apart from his latest album on Ad Noiseam Records, Detritus will present some brand new tracks of his upcoming 4th studio album, exclusively for the audience of Athens!

KEEF BAKER: A wonderful artist with releases in some of the most important labels in experimental electronic music (n5MD, Ad Noiseam) and responsible for the incredible “Redeye”, which was released by Hymen in 2007, Keef Baker from Leeds, UK combines ideally his influences, which extend from Gridlockm, Amon Tobin and Autechre to jazz, drum’n’bass and modern IDM. Throughout his great productions, he bridges in maestro-way beautiful melodic parts with fast d’n’b loops and strong basslines, preserving great power in each of his creations. His live appearances create an incredibly unique atmosphere throughout uptempo rhythms and his totally personal “Keef Baker” sounds. Hopeful emotions and images that makes you want to travel, form Keef’s magic world.

SUBHEIM: Just a month after the official presentation of his brand new album, “Approach”, he will present a live set which will include the strongest moments of his discographic appearance, as well as several new, unreleased tracks. IDM sounds, melancholic soundtrack atmosphere and deeply depressive moments, in combination with chaotic female vocals compose an incredible emotional ensemble. An ensemble which delicately balances between orchestral music and experimental electronica, unfolds its inner beauty in the most special way, in every live appearance and haunts with its bitter-sweet taste.

XSOZ: A wonderful new project in the field of rhythmic noise and psychotic melodes, while adding complex ambient/dark ambient elements to the whole. Cold, industrial sounds come out through frozen, foggy soundscapes. Force and harsh industrial are the result of the talented Greek artist, something clearly visible in his live sets. Xsoz has shared the stage with acts such as Ah Cama-Sotz (BE) and Blackfilm (HU), while his debut album, “Basic Topology” was recently released by the German label Fich-Art.

ABSTRACTIVE NOISE: This is an experimental music project which mostly deals with mxing up several music techniques (mostly 20th century music) like atonal, open forms, neoclassic as well as abstract rhythms, noise and many more. A very interesting as well as a new hope for the scene, which will present a significant sample of his work, on the 17th of Saturday at Bios basement. No Angel Prod (PL) will release a split album of Abstr. Noise + Buben this summer, which will include the whole “Illusion” concept and the “Oblivion” track.
