Well I am going to spread some negative vibes, Psyborgz..
I feel sorry for putting up such a thread to the first page of the section, but I just can't help.. I feel sorry for giving some kind of "advertisement" to such an ugly place, I feel very VERY SORRY to read so many indian people in this thread already, and I feel sorry to go maybe beyonds the guidelines when it comes to politics but...
I can't understand how people from the so-called "psychedelic trance community" can praise such a place !
..A place that is built with the sweat and blood of the exploited workers that are building this worse than Babylon wound on Planet Earth !! I have just seen (once again) a report about Dubai, and I just feel like puking !! When I see the workers have their passports confiscated, when I see the ammount of causing death accidents, when I see the ammount of dead bodies repatriated back to India or Pakistan because of suicide (when the "official" ammount of deadly accident per year in dubai is around 30 and the ammount of bodies more than 800 a year !), when I see they are building camps for the workers, with stalls placed in parallel that strongly look like some WW2 concentration camps (and you all know who built them), when I see all this : I WONDER !!
I wonder how come some people here are posting about how cool this place is !! I wonder how can such a place be connected with the psychedelic trance and its values (if there remain any single..) !! I wonder how can some djs/acts can accept to go and play there !! I wonder what the f**k is going on in your head, guyz, how THAT blind you can be !
I already wrote it in a thread that has been deleted some times ago here, I even wouldn't buy a flight to the far-east that has a stop over Dubai !

What we all have to understand is …. Dubai is not a place where psy is popularized…. bro, if ur so senstive to this issuse i can point to atleast 100 issues wen u'll feel sick with woteve country ur living in may it be europe may it be asia or may it be america.
all the developed nations are funding millons of $$$ to take action against pollution & emition control (which they did for so many yrs.) and through the bak door they are funding billons of $$$$ to the underdevloped(or so called devloping ) nations like India, China & Brazil.
where thousands of hectres of forest cover and natural ecosystems are vanishing 
the problem is not local bro it's more global & everyone i repeat everyone is a part of it.

I totally understand wut ur sayin ..we are also not happy with the labour laws,accidents ,suicides and everythin else that is goin on here which you probably have not heard of yet....trust me brother when i say that ..but theres not much that we can do here..we are also( most of us) expatriate workers from india,pakistan and other places in the world..
and we are not advertising the place only makin the world aware that we are here,we are a small community built on our love for the music,and promoting the music ,talented artists and djs based here..
...so judging us ,asking other artists not to come and play here and to boycott this place is a really inappropriate and uncalled for statement IMHO..
There are so many other uglier things goin on in other parts of the world i havent seen anyone askin artists to boycott those places..???
wut ever decision the autorites in Dubai are takin has got nothin to do with us ..we are not goin to start protests against the govt or anyone else for tht matter ..
