i'm trying to fix a problem...and thought i could also get some tips here...

my computer went crazy, since i installed new hard disk. nothing works right...for example when i click a file---> bluescreen, termine program--->bluescreen, etc....i'm really desperated.
but the other prob, regarding music creation is as following: nuendo plays well, but only one time, after i hit stop, it doesnt play anymore. usually it helped with reastarting the project, but now it just stucks, and debug process begins.

do u think that those two problems could be associated together? or is it just shitty soundcard (well, it is) ? or bad midi communication? or isnt it just a MAC??? some hints will do wonders, i dont know what to do, i only sit here and bite nails...
thx

blue screen is almost always associated with memory probs........maybe ur RAM got a bit loose while installing the hard disk.........check ur RAM first, then maybe u can think about other things..............

hope u get things sorted out......

u wrote something about mac.
r u on a mac/pc ?
hmmm...
from the "bluescreen" i believe you're on windoze.
questions:

1. describe your system HD setup before the crashes.
like:
1 HD [primary IDE master] with system on it.
N partitions, the programs are installed in X,Y,Z partitions, system is in partition X
and so on.

2. describe its HD config now.

boom.

well for the partitions.... thats also another question.... i have three partitions on two HD's... c: and d: (c: for "normal" software, d: for music creation software + plugins) and e: on the other hd for files only. do u think this is a good setup? well i know that the only thing thats really good is to install music creation stuff on separate pc...but dont have a second one.

anyways the nuendo thing doesnt happen again (i formatted c:), it happens sometimes but only when it uses much cpu....

and the thing with the harddisk is also mostly ok after formatting, but if its happen again, i dont see any other help than calling the supporter...my brother

thx guys..

i think you have a big problem in your system and the best is format it and instal again, but i see a bug in your nuendo.. i had the same problem with other program and after i delet it and instaled again the problem gone.. You just have to loose a bit of time in front of the cpu and bite some more nails..
gud luk
